Olive harvest and oil tasting

from October 20, twice a week

Limone is home to a remarkable number of olive trees, an evergreen fruit tree that is widespread throughout the Lake Garda area. It is a tree that suffers from low temperatures and drought, but is extremely long-lived. In autumn, around October, the olives are harvested to produce olive oil. This is a very important farming tradition, which is still often carried out by hand, just as it was in the past, using nets, olive harvesting tongs and ladders. The extra virgin olive oil produced is rich in nutrients, extremely flavourful and boasts excellent organoleptic properties.

Guests can watch and take part in the olive harvest in the gardens of Hotel Caravel. A tasting of typical local products will be offered directly in the olive grove.

Other services included during the same period: Guided walks (twice a week), Yoga classes (once a week), Outdoor wellness area (equipped relaxation area, two saunas, two hot tubs and a cold-water tub with bucket shower), Heated outdoor swimming pool.
